Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 183,000 MT
WINNIPEG - Aug 5/11 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 183,000 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the previous marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 2,900 from 180,100 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 58,600 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 2,456,100 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 2,456,100 MT peas up 792,900 from 1,663,200 MT last year.
