Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 218,000 MT
WINNIPEG - Jul 29/11 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 218,000 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2010-11 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 26,200 from 191,800 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 26,300 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 2,393,100 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 2,393,100 MT peas up 781,700 from 1,611,400 MT last year.
