Peas Ease As Competition Rises
VANCOUVER - Jul 22/11 - SNS -- Field pea markets finished the week's trading on an easier note against the availability of new crop product from France and the Ukraine.
Grower bids in France were little changed on the week, ranging up to Euros 270 for food grade peas delivered to Rouen and up to Euros 240 for feed peas.
In recent years, France has normally shipped one or more parcels of peas to the Indian subcontinent in July or August.
