Peas Firm on Crop Worries
VANCOUVER - Jul 2/11 - SNS -- North American field pea markets continued to strengthen in the face of worries over the potential size of this year's crops in North America and elsewhere.
At the moment, it looks like field pea production will be down 1.2 million metric tons (MT) in the world's key exporting and importing regions.
The biggest reductions are in France, the United States, and Canada, which are three largest exporters.
