Few Changes in Peas

VANCOUVER - Jun 4/11 - SNS -- International field pea markets finished the week's trading mostly unchanged against moderate demand and worries about how much of the Canadian and U.S. crops will finally be planted.

Seeding in southern Saskatchewan, Montana and North Dakota has been delayed by unusually wet conditions.

By the end of May, farmers in North Dakota had planted a third of their intended acreage, compared to just 20% in Montana, and 85% in Saskatchewan.
