Record Export Pace Supports Peas
VANCOUVER - Oct 15/10 - SNS -- A record start to Canada's 2010-11 field pea export program continues to support asking prices for product from that origin.
However, some doubts are being quietly expressed about the fate of demand and prices in the new year.
Indications are good that India's farmers will produce a record 16.5 million metric ton (MT) pulse crop in 2010-11.
