No Change in South African Bean Estimate
VANCOUVER - Sep 23/10 - SNS -- South Africa's dry edible bean production estimate for 2009-10 was left unchanged in the latest crop report from the South Africa Grain Information Service (SAGIS).
Production is exceed to total 40,350 metric tons MT) from 44,100 hectares. Average yields are down almost 23% from last season at an estimated 1,185 kilograms per hectare.
