United States Large Lima Beans Grower Price Review

VANCOUVER - Sep 6/10 - STAT -- United States Large Lima Beans markets finished the 2009-10 marketing year with prices offered to growers rising 3% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.

The average price paid for Large Lima Beans was USD$68.39 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $66.38 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.

Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $69.80 per cwt in December, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $66.80 per cwt in June.
