VANCOUVER - Sep 6/10 - STAT -- United States Pink Bean markets finished the 2009-10 marketing year with prices offered to growers slipping 4% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Pink Bean was USD$31.25 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $32.48 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $33.20 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $30.00 per cwt in August.
