United States Baby Lima Beans Grower Price Review

VANCOUVER - Sep 6/10 - STAT -- United States Baby Lima Beans markets finished the 2009-10 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 10% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.

The average price paid for Baby Lima Beans was USD$39.32 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $43.87 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.

Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $46.80 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $34.70 per cwt in June.
