United States Black Bean Grower Price Review
VANCOUVER - Sep 6/10 - STAT -- United States Black Bean markets finished the 2009-10 marketing year with prices offered to growers rising 5% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Black Bean was USD$36.35 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $34.73 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $39.88 per cwt in May, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $30.00 per cwt in August.
