Few Changes in Field PeasVANCOUVER - Aug 28/10 - SNS -- Few changes were recorded in field pea markets during the past week, with strong export movement to the Indian subcontinent provided short term support. The impact demand is having on price is helped by the slow pace of this year's harvest in Saskatchewan. The week started with just 15% of the pea crop in the down, well behind the recent average harvest pace of half in the bin by the third week of August. Harvest activity is focussed on Saskatchewan's southern crop districts, with 24% of the crop in the bin in the southeast and 30% in the southwest.
