USDA Monthly Bean Invitations Totals 1,600 MT
KANSAS CITY - Aug 25/10 - STAT -- The total quantity of dry edible beans covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 18,540 MT, compared to 3,870 MT last year.
Within the bean complex, the USDA is mostly buying colored beans, with purchases up 13,920 MT from last year's 3,870 MT level.
