USDA Oct Tenders Reach 12,410 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Aug 25/10 - STAT -- The latest USDA PL-480 tenders bring actual and potential purchases of pulses for shipment as food aid during the Sep-Oct shipping season to 47,720 MT.
This represents an increase of 20,250 MT over last season. The biggest change is in colored beans with shipments up 14,670 MT over the same period last year.
This season's volume leader is yellow peas, with 24,710 MT bought or under tender so far this season.
