USDA Reports Does Not Affect BeansVANCOUVER - Aug 13/10 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets were not surprised by the USDA's seeded area estimates for beans by class, with the result North American markets were mostly unchanged on the week. Most markets for that origin are better described as undefined because of tight supplies in spot shipping positions and a general reluctance to speculate on grower selling interest in new crop shipping positions. This left the spot market index for U.S. origin beans was unchanged at 1016 points and the spot grower bid index also unchanged at 932.
