Marrowfat Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 9/10 - STAT -- Canadian Marrowfat Pea markets finished the 2009-10 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 6% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Marrowfat Pea was CDN$349.77 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $372.20 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $367.43 per MT in August, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $321.50 per MT in July.
