Pink Bean Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 9/10 - STAT -- Canadian Pink Bean markets finished the 2009-10 marketing year with prices offered to growers easing 1% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Pink Bean was CDN$33.12 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $33.62 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $35.23 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $31.50 per cwt in April.
