Beans Supported by Firming Grains

VANCOUVER - Aug 7/10 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on a firming tone against the thought rising prices for primary grains will allow pulse values to rise to maintain parity with those crops.

Even so, the spot market index for U.S. origin beans slipped three points to 1016 points, while the spot grower bid index remained unchanged at 932.

This reflects efforts by spot and new crop edible bean markets in North American to converge.
