Firmer Finish in Peas
VANCOUVER - Aug 7/10 - SNS -- Field pea markets in Canada finished the week's trading on a firmer note against continued nearby demand for product by India's state trading companies.
Another 100,000 metric tons (MT) of Canadian whole yellow peas were sold against a tender which allowed offers of French product.
Prices in France posted solid gains during the past week against fears of a feed grain shortfall in central Europe.
