Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 180,100 MT

WINNIPEG - Aug 6/10 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 180,100 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the previous marketing year.

Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 9,700 from 170,400 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.

Exports totalled 51,800 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,663,200 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,663,200 MT peas down 235,900 from 1,899,100 MT last year.

Grower deliveries reached 67,400 MT during the week under review. Farmer deliveries so far this season total 1,679,700 MT peas down 302,000 from 1,981,700 MT last year.

The CGC reported domestic disappearance as 700 MT during the week under review. The season to date total is 37,900 MT peas down 27,600 from 65,500 MT last year.
