Lentil Exports From Canada Continue Easy Tone

PANAMA - Jun 6/24 - SNS -- At this point in the marketing year added to their easier trend, with lentil shipments from Canada sank relative to the previous month in April, judging from the latest statistics from Statistics Canada.

Exports during the month totalled 93,154 metric tons (MT), down from 121,042 MT the previous month. This lifted shipments so far during the marketing year to 1,285,594, down 25% last year.

The latest movement statistics reported Bangladesh was largest destination, taking 28,061 MT. Turkey was the second most important importer buying 10,364 MT, followed by India at 7,546 MT.
