Field Pea Exports From France Start With Easy Note
PANAMA - Apr 16/24 - SNS -- Shipments of field peas from France sank versus the previous month in February, recent data from Eurostat reveals.
Exports for the month reached 6,101 metric tons (MT), down from 15,629 MT the prior month. This increased shipments so far during the calendar year to 21,729, down 18% last year.
The most recent trade statistics reported China was top importer, buying 4,233 MT. Switzerland was the second most important importer taking 1,484 MT, followed by United Kingdom at 266 MT.
