Field Pea Imports By Italy Post Easy Opening
PANAMA - Apr 16/24 - SNS -- At this point in this calendar year amanageda weaker month, with field pea imports for Italy fell relative to the previous month in February, according to the latest statistics from Eurostat.
Imports totalled 11,092 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 25% from the 14,846 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 25,938 MT, compared to 19,107 during the last calendar year.
Russia was the top supplier, supplying 10,729 MT. Canada was the second most important supplier supplying 160 MT, followed by Ukraine at 136 MT.
