Field Pea Imports By Spain Start With Strong Tone
PANAMA - Mar 18/24 - SNS -- Spain's imports of field peas in January improved versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
The updated data showed imports during the month totalled 33,242 metric tons (MT), up 1% from 32,965 the previous month. Versus the same month last year, imports are up 581% from 4,882 MT.
The most important shipper for the month was Latvia, selling 28,500 MT. Lithuania was the second most important exporter shipping 4,303 MT, followed by France at 395 MT.
