Broadbean Exports From Australia Open With Firm Tone
PANAMA - Mar 7/24 - SNS -- Shipments of broadbeans for Australia leapt versus the previous month in January, recent data from Australia Bureau of Statistics reveals.
Movement for the first month of the marketing year totalled 121,015 metric tons (MT), up 288% from 31,184 MT the previous month. The data revealed exports was up 135% from the 78,383 MT reported in the same month last year.
During the month, Egypt was the most important buyer, buying 107,463 MT. India was the second most important destination buying 2,408 MT, followed by Saudi Arabia at 2,337 MT.
