Australia's Broadbean Exports Post Soft Month
PANAMA - Apr 5/24 - SNS -- Australia's export shipments of broadbeans in February sank versus the previous month, according to data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Shipments reached 24,199 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 79% from the 117,669 MT shipped the previous month. Movement so far total 204,777 MT, versus 147,679 during the last marketing year.
Egypt was the largest consumer during the month, taking 10,297 MT. Laos was the second most important destination buying 2,101 MT, followed by Morocco at 2,057 MT.
