Mung Bean Imports By China Post Improved Oucome

PANAMA - Feb 14/24 - SNS -- So far during the current calendar year recorded a stronger performance, with mung bean imports for China posted decent increases, moving relative to the previous month in December, according to the latest statistics from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available.

Total imports for the month amounted to 42,969 metric tons (MT), up 4% from the previous month's total of 41,425. So far imports have reached 572,681 MT, down from 649,154 during the previous calendar year.

Uzbekistan was the largest supplier, supplying 35,312 MT. Ethiopia was the second most important shipper shipping 2,769 MT, followed by Myanmar at 1,813 MT.
