Broadbean Exports From Australia Sustain Strong Performance

PANAMA - Feb 5/24 - SNS -- At this point in the marketing year continued their firmer trend, with broadbean shipments from Australia made modest gains, rising relative to the previous month in December, judging from official trade data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.

Total shipments during the month amounted to 35,752 metric tons (MT), up 13% from the previous month's total of 31,726. So far exports have reached 67,478 MT, up from 65,676 in the same period the last marketing year.

Egypt was the most important importer, taking 19,865 MT. Saudi Arabia was the second most important destination taking 3,534 MT, followed by Vietnam at 2,171 MT.
