Mung Bean Imports By China Reveal Strong Performance
PANAMA - Jan 29/24 - SNS -- Imports of mung beans for China showed massive gains, jumping versus the previous month in November, trade data from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available reveals.
Total imports in the month amounted to 41,425 metric tons (MT), up 92% from the previous month's total of 21,523. So far imports have amounted to 529,711 MT, down from 621,361 in the same period the last calendar year.
Uzbekistan was the largest supplier, shipping 31,009 MT. Ethiopia was the second most important exporter shipping 3,984 MT, followed by Indonesia at 3,206 MT.
