Yellow Pea Grower Price Review in U.S.
VANCOUVER - Sep 19/22 - STAT -- American Yellow Pea markets finished the 2021-22 marketing year with prices offered to growers rocketing 63% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Yellow Pea was USD$24.88 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $15.26 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $26.50 per cwt in June, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $21.80 per cwt in September.
