Green Pea Grower Price Review in U.S.
VANCOUVER - Sep 19/22 - STAT -- American Green Pea markets finished the 2021-22 marketing year with prices offered to growers rocketing 48% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Green Pea was USD$22.02 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $14.85 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $25.75 per cwt in October, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $17.75 per cwt in August.
