Field Pea Imports By Spain Post Improved Result
PANAMA - Sep 15/22 - SNS -- Spain's imports of field peas in July leapt compared to the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Total imports in the month amounted to 14,887 metric tons (MT), up 230% from the previous month's total of 4,508. So far imports have reached 28,123 MT, down from 42,351 during the previous calendar year.
The most important shipper throughout the month was Russia, selling 8,000 MT. Latvia was the second most important shipper supplying 6,598 MT, followed by France at 183 MT.
