Field Pea Imports By Italy Extend Easy Tone
PANAMA - Sep 15/22 - SNS -- Imports of field peas by Italy posted significant declines, slumping versus the previous month in July, official data from Eurostat reveals.
Total imports in the month reached 6,619 metric tons (MT), down 41% from the previous month's total of 11,275. So far imports have totalled 79,589 MT, down from 99,710 during the last calendar year.
Russia was the top supplier, selling 6,292 MT. Argentina was the second most important supplier supplying 240 MT, followed by Ukraine at 44 MT.
