Field Pea Exports From France Continue Soft Trend
PANAMA - Sep 15/22 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year maintained a weaker trend, with field pea movement for France shrank compared to the previous month in July, according to the latest data from Eurostat.
Total movement for the month reached 1,415 metric tons (MT), down 94% from the previous month's total of 24,422. So far export sales have reached 118,779 MT, down from 149,289 during the previous calendar year.
Current movement statistics showed China was number one importer, taking 1,041 MT during the month. Switzerland was the second most important buyer buying 331 MT, followed by South Africa at 42 MT.
