Canada's Yellow Pea Exports Maintain Easy Tendency
PANAMA - Sep 7/22 - SNS -- So far during the current marketing year continued a weaker trend, with yellow pea shipments for Canada fell relative to the previous month in July, judging from trade statistics from Statistics Canada.
Exports reached 70,768 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 35% from the 108,871 MT exported the previous month. Exports so far total 1,271,826 MT, versus 2,882,281 in the same period the previous marketing year.
For the month, China was the most important importer, receiving 69,554 MT. Thailand was the second most important buyer receiving 293 MT, followed by Colombia at 246 MT.
