Dry Beans Ease Despite Fundamentals

PANAMA - Jul 8/22 - SNS -- North American dry edible bean markets were easier on the week despite relatively solid fundamentals in the face of soft shot term demand and rising optimism about the yield potential of crops that were sown.

This was reflected in the dry edible bean price index for the United States, which dropped 2.1 points on the week to close at 114.6 points.

Similarly, the global pulse price index declined 4.0 points on the week to close at 110.3 while the Canadian index sank 6.4 points to 112.
