Spain's Field Pea Imports Record A Better Result
PANAMA - Apr 20/22 - SNS -- Imports of field peas for Spain made modest gains, rising compared to the previous month in February, data from Eurostat shows.
Total imports throughout the month reached 6,245 metric tons (MT), up 1% from the previous month's total of 566. So far imports have totalled 6,810 MT, down from 28,467 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The top supplier for the month was Russia, selling 5,833 MT. France was the second most important exporter supplying 235 MT, followed by Canada at 169 MT.
