WASHINGTON - Oct 12/21 - SNS --- This year's dry edible bean harvest is entering its final stages in the United States, judging from state level reports from the USDA.
The overall harvest appears to be 89% complete, similar to this time last year and ahead of the recent five year average of 80%.
The harvest is considered complete in Montana and Washington state, but moving ahead at a significantly slower pace in Colorado and Nebraska, where it is now estimated to be 55% and 81% complete respectively.
