Kidney Bean Exports From Argentina Record Improved Oucome
PANAMA - Aug 4/21 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year posted a stronger performance, with kidney bean exports from Argentina were up significantly, rising relative to the previous month in June, according to trade statistics from Instituto Nacional de Estadistica y Censos.
Export sales reached 18,962 metric tons (MT) for the month, up 39% from the 13,635 MT shipped the previous month. Shipments so far total 79,316 MT, versus 129,417 during the last calendar year.
The top importer throughout the month was Brazil, buying 10,570 MT. Portugal was the second most important importer buying 2,498 MT, followed by Italy at 1,593 MT.
