WASHINGTON - Aug 2/21 - SNS -- This year's field pea harvest in the United States is roughly 40% complete, compared to 14% at the same time last year.
Farmers in Montana made considerable progress with their harvest, with an estimated 61% of the crop now in the bin, triple progress by the beginning of August last year.
Progress is also being reported in North Dakota, with 11% of that state's crop now in the bin, up from 8% at this time last year.
