Argentina's Kidney Bean Exports Post Better Result
PANAMA - Jul 27/21 - SNS -- Argentina's export shipments of kidney beans in May were up significantly, rising versus the previous month, according to data from Instituto Nacional de Estadistica y Censos.
Total exports in the month reached 13,002 metric tons (MT), up 50% from the previous month's total of 8,645. So far exports have totalled 59,776 MT, down from 106,350 during the previous calendar year.
Brazil was the largest consumer during the month, taking 4,056 MT. Portugal was the second most important buyer taking 1,398 MT, followed by Spain at 1,333 MT.
