China's Field Pea Imports Start With Firm Tone
PANAMA - Jul 26/21 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year with a a stronger tone, with field pea imports for China made solid gains, advancing compared to the previous month in March, judging from recent data from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available.
Total imports during the month reached 245,163 metric tons (MT), up 23% from the previous month's total of 198,921. So far imports have reached 709,093 MT, up from 197,072 during the last calendar year.
Recent trade statistics revealed Canada was number one supplier, supplying 228,688 MT during the month. United States was the second most important supplier supplying 13,383 MT, followed by Australia at 2,410 MT.
