Russia's Field Pea Exports Maintain Firm Trend
PANAMA - Jul 26/21 - SNS -- Movement of field peas for Russia advanced compared to the previous month in May, official trade data from Federal Customs Service of Russia reveals.
Movement during the month totalled 97,791 metric tons (MT), up from 90,009 MT the prior month. This lifted shipments so far during the calendar year to 326,389, up 38% last year.
The latest movement statistics revealed Bangladesh was biggest buyer, receiving 28,084 MT. Italy was the second most important importer receiving 25,128 MT, followed by Turkey at 24,134 MT.
