Dry Beans Hopeful Drought Reduces

PANAMA - Jul 9/21 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets were moderately firmer in limited trading activity during the past week, partly due to the impact of the summer holiday season in the northern hemisphere.

This was reflected in the dry edible bean price index for the United States, which advanced 0.7 points on the week to finish at 97.8.

At the same time, the global pulse price index inched up 0.1 points to close at 91 while the Canadian index gained 0.6 points to finish at 91.1 points.
