Bean Crop Condition Slips

WASHINGTON - Jul 7/21 - SNS -- The condition of dry edible bean crops in the United States declined during the past week, with the proportion rated poor or very poor advancing from 24% to 26%.

Judging from states for which data is available, 37% is in good to excellent condition, up from 34% last week, while the proportion rated fair slipped from 40 to 38%.

Problems with water damage was reported in Michigan, while conditions in Montana and North Dakota remain heavily weighted toward poor and very poor.
