General Strength On Week in Pulses

PANAMA - Feb 19/21 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week on a relatively firm note, with exporters in North America facing less competition than normal from other origins.

This was reflected in the dry edible bean price index for the United States, which was rose 0.6 points on the week at 86.4.

By contrast, the global pulse price index advanced 1.8 points on the week to close at 87.4, while the Canadian index gained 1.9 points to close at 86.1 points, its highest level since August of 2017.
