Field Pea Imports By Spain Continue Soft Tone
PANAMA - Feb 15/21 - SNS -- Imports of field peas by Spain fell versus the previous month in December, available data from Eurostat shows.
Imports totalled 8,835 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 40% from the 14,744 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 176,175 MT, versus 190,534 in the same period the last calendar year.
Russia was the most important supplier, shipping 6,255 MT. Luxembourg was the second most important export origin selling 1,932 MT, followed by France at 373 MT.
