Lithuania's Field Pea Exports Extend Soft Tendency
PANAMA - Feb 15/21 - SNS -- Lithuania's shipments of field peas during December shrank compared to the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Exports reached 3,597 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 76% from the 15,218 MT exported the previous month. Shipments so far total 142,335 MT, versus 172,186 in the same period the last calendar year.
For the month, Latvia was the most important consumer, taking 1,334 MT. Poland was the second most important consumer buying 1,096 MT, followed by Netherlands at 620 MT.
