Russia's Field Pea Exports Reveal Weak Month
PANAMA - Feb 8/21 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year posted a easier month, with field pea movement from Russia posted massive declines, sinking compared to the previous month in November, judging from official trade data from Federal Customs Service of Russia.
Shipments for the month reached 32,169 metric tons (MT), down from 84,782 MT the prior month. This increased exports so far during the calendar year to 641,276, up 15% last year.
In the month, Turkey was the biggest buyer, receiving 8,013 MT. Italy was the second most important destination buying 7,147 MT, followed by Bangladesh at 6,085 MT.
