China's Kidney Bean Exports Post Improved Performance
PANAMA - Aug 13/20 - SNS -- China's export shipments of kidney beans in June made major gains, jumping versus the previous month, according to data from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available.
Shipments reached 38,760 metric tons (MT) during the month, up 135% from the 16,487 MT exported the previous month. Export sales so far total 88,315 MT, versus 102,528 during the last calendar year.
In the month, Cuba was the top consumer, taking 28,000 MT. India was the second most important destination taking 3,372 MT, followed by Pakistan at 2,032 MT.
